The Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity serving as champions for burn survivors, fire fighters, and safe communities all across Wisconsin. We are excited to announce that our 3rd annual Burn Ball will be held at the Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor’s Club on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 with proceeds benefitting our cause and Burn Survivor Support program. We have made a 5-year commitment to support the new UW Health Burn Center by naming the family lounge. Our hope is that we will provide much needed support for the burn center and increase awareness and continuity into our aftercare programming
At the Fire Fighters Foundation, everyone is touched by the work we do, whether through our fire safety and prevention initiatives, or the work we do to support fire fighters and their families during times of need. Obviously our goal is to prevent fires and burns from happening at all, but when a burn injury does occur, we are there to provide meaningful support to burn survivors of all ages and in all stages of recovery, including at our annual Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth. Burn Camp is a free, weeklong summer camp experience for kids with life-changing burn injuries to grow their lifelong support system, continue to heal from the emotional trauma of their burns, and just be a kid.
